Schools out for Summer!

Friday was my last day of school. One year done and so many more years to go. Well this summer will be nice relaxing and hanging with friends. The room is packed up and clean, and report cards are done. I never thought that I would be able to clean my room and have it ready by friday but it was.

Saturday May 27, 2006 John and Jen got married! We had a great time. So many stories. So many laughs. So much dancing.

10,000 miles














My baby has now rolled over to 10,000 miles. The car is only 8 months old and has 10,125 miles. Way to Go!!!!

Pets/Classroom Activities Don't Mix



About a month ago the tadpole dilema started, this week it end just as crazy as it started. I had the great idea that while we taught the life cycle we would watch tadpoles go thought the metamophis stages. Well we found out that its not as easy as it sounds. From tank issuses, to fliteration issuses, to actual tadpoles issuses it was a nightmare. The tadpoles showed up to school no bigger than a cm each. So we had 75, cm long, clear tadpoles, that we needed to tank and hopefully grow. Well last Monday (5/8/06), when I arrived at school I only had three tadpoles left. Well as of Wednesday the tadpole dilema is over because they are all dead well at least in my room. Now a week later more tadpoles have died. This Monday Tereasa found only six tadpoles in her tank, and her number is slowly dieing off also. So month ago we started with 75 and we are now down to about 12 tadpoles.
Now I am left with 10 catepillars that hopefully will turn into butterflies by the end of the year, and a Beta fish that we will be name at a later day, right now the kids are deciding between fish stick, and squish. I will not allow them to name the fish these name, so until we come up with a better name he is nameless.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!!!!


Tonight (5/6/06) was Jen's Bachlorette party! We had so much fun. It is so nice to go out with the girls. We went to the Kit Kat Club in Chicago. The food was great. The entertainment, well what can you say, when you have a tranny signing and dancing for your enjoyment, you can't go wrong! I will post a picture when Jen sends them to me. Teaching is SO much Fun!!!



Well I guess I can start another chapter in my book today. Today my students decided to tell an in schooler(in school suspenion student) all about my love life. Yes, I don't have one but they figured they would fill him in on that today. Of course they should be working at this time, but no why would we work. They told the fifth grader that I like "hot guys" than another students corrects that to "hot men". Of course the conversation continues to who i am going to marry. As you all know that is Dale Earnhardt Jr.. All of this right in front of me while they should be finishing math. When I try to stop them they of course the respondes is "but its true". Still we continue to argue, than one shouts out "arent you and Ms. M in love with the same guy. Whats his name again?" Yes and they are still not working, thank god recess time came, I don't even want to know what they talked about out there. Oh the joys of teaching. Only one fight today, atleast in our grade, other then that I think it was pretty peaceful. Now tomorrow is Kite Day. I am sure tomorrow will be a pain.

I guess I should tell some of you about me. Most of you know me and my story but if you dont here it is. I am 24, will be 25 on May 29!!! I teach 3rd grade in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. I still live a home, I am waiting to save money, and to find out if I get to stay in Round Lake. I love teaching most days. It just depends. I love spending time with friends and family. I am told that I need to spend more time with both but I try my best. As a side job I enjoy baby sitting. A lot of people feel that I am too old for this, but hey I love kids, and I am making money so I will keep doing it. I graduated from Trinity International University in 2004 with a Teaching Degree. I hopefully will start grad school soon, I am planning on studing Education Psych. Here is a picture of me with two of my closest friends. In this picture we are celebrating because Katie is getting married!!! (Far left Katie, Susie(me), April) We have been close friends forever. Katie is engaged and April has been married for a year and a half. I am single and loving it.

The Spazz we all know and love.


Spazz loves to help and he will help even when he is not needed. This is him trying to find the right lid for something. There were no lids on the floor when I was in that cabinet, also the cabinet was a lot cleaner before Spazz got to it. Oh what a Helper!!!!!

This is my baby Spazz. He was born April 25, 2004. He was a Graduation gift from my parents. He is great! He is also a spazz. This is him being all cute and sweet shortly after I got him home. He is not always this sweet and cute, but it is a great game face. There will be more stories and pictures of spazz to come.

Welcome to my Blog Page. Just to let you know, I have no clue what I am doing. I figured I would give it a try. Already I am having many issues. Hopefully thinks will get easier we will have to wait and see.
